uspol, ilpol, Netanyahu

I liked Nadler's statement

Benjamin Netanyahu is the worst leader in Jewish history since the Maccabean king who invited the Romans into Jerusalem over 2100 years ago. The Prime Minister is putting the security of Israel, the lives of the hostages, the stability of the region, and longstanding Israeli democratic norms in perilous jeopardy, simply to maintain the stability of his far-right coalition and absolve him of his own legal troubles.

re: uspol, ilpol, Netanyahu

@raf the more I read about Netanyahu and his cronies' treatment of hostage families, the more horrified I get. It is deeply unnerving to me how little play this seems to be getting with American audiences.

I don't think I'd go that far. I would have to do a lot of research on other Jewish leaders. Its not impossible that there could be one worse, but it's hard to figure out how... Certain "Controversial" figures do come to mind, but they are dead. And let's say their memories are Not a blessing.

Certainly, Nadler is right when it comes to Jewish heads of state.

@eira

There has been so much horror. You have to remain vigilant to not get de-sensitised to it. Particularly, with what's going on within Gaza

I don't care much about this or that political leader; But i'm immediately suspicious when i see the prosecution invent a new kind of crime and the police terrorize a key witness just to get said leader on trial. To me it suggests a conspiracy, and makes me question their true motivations.
